Our commitment to our staff, our customers, our work and sustainability has been laid down in the international standards with which we comply :
All of our staff and network member companies have committed to Harmony’s Code of Conduct.

This Code sets out our commitment to important topics such as Ethical Behaviour, Integrity, Sustainability, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Anti-Competition, and GDPR. The Code states how you can expect our network, our companies and our employees to behave to ensure we always try our best to do the right thing. Our entire network follows annual, mandatory compliance training.

Our Compliance Programs

Anti-bribery & Anti-corruption Policy

High Relocation is a quality-oriented company and committed to fight against corruption, bribery and fraud activities. It is our policy to comply with all laws, rules and regulations governing anti-bribery and Prevention of Corruption.

This policy applies to individual employees, agents, suppliers, consultants or any other people or bodies associated with The High Relocation or any of its subsidiaries and employees.

A “Bribe” is anything that has a value and is given to influence a decision to give a business advantage to the offer or, whether this is High Relocation or an entity seeking to do business with High Relocation. Bribes do not just involve cash payments. Lavish gifts, expensive dinners or wine, tickets to sporting events, and jewelry or gems have all been found to be bribes.

To achieve our commitment,
we expect compliance of following code of conduct from all our clients, associates, business partners and suppliers:
  • Never engage in any form of bribery, either directly or through any third party.
  • Never offer or make an improper payment or authorize an improper payment (cash or otherwise) to any individual, including any local or foreign official anywhere in the world.
  • Never attempt to induce an individual, or a local or foreign official to act illegally or improperly.
  • Never offer, or accept, money or anything of value, such as gifts, kickbacks or commissions, in connection with the procurement of business or the award of a contract.
  • Never offer or give any gift or token of hospitality to any public employee or government official or representative if there is any expectation or implication for a return favor.
  • Never accept any gift from any business partner if there is any suggestion that a return favor will be expected or implied.
  • Never facilitate payments to obtain a level of service that one would not normally be entitled to.
  • Never disregard or fail to report any indication of improper payments to the appropriate authorities.
  • Never induce or assist another individual to break any applicable law or regulation.
This policy does not prohibit the following practices:
  • Normal and appropriate hospitality (given or received) It is limited to only promotional business gifts, such as calendars, diaries, pens, invitation to High Relocation.
  • The giving of a ceremonial gift on a festival or at special occasion. Gifts are accepted and distributed on special occasions only and are to remain modest and reasonable.
  • We expect cooperation from all the staff to adhere to this anti-corruption policy. Any employees, supplier or affiliate can report the non-compliance of any bribery and corruption activities in the organization to management.

    A suitable action will be taken against the employees, agent or supplier found involved in any kind of corruption activities.
We are committed to protecting the non-public and personal information of our customers,
employees and business partners:
  • We commit to satisfy applicable requirements related to information security;
  • We commit to continual improvement of our information security management system.
Information gathered by High Relocation, necessary to carry out the relocation of our customers, is used solely for the purposes of performing the relocation and shared only with those authorities, bodies or agencies who require this information to issue permits or licenses essential to the relocation:
  • We will never ask for more information of personal nature than strictly needed to perform the customer’s removal or relocation;
  • No profiling is done based on provided information;
  • No automated decision making is done based on personal data;
  • We will never pass on personal information to third parties unless we are legally required to do so;
  • Personal information is never sold or used for commercial purposes;
  • We abide by the privacy laws in effect in the countries in which we conduct business;
  • Customers receive an information privacy notice at first contact;
  • Our workers are expressly instructed to not disclose any information of personal nature they obtain during their work to any outside parties, and sanctions may apply if this instruction is broken;
  • We implement and maintain strict protection protocols in data communication
  • We have set the following objectives since 2001 : Information Security objectives for High Relocation :
  • Uphold our Data Privacy Protection Policy as part of our Compliance code and monitor its implementation during audits;
  • Complete annual trainings concerning information security by a minimum of two senior managers.
Health & Safety Policy
On the issue of health & safety we commit to:
  • The prevention of injury and ill health and to the continual improvement in OH&S management;
  • Comply with labor laws and other applicable legal and other relevant requirements
  • Identify and address any safety hazards for our workers, clients and third parties through a hierarchy of control.
To this end, we have set the following objectives for Health & Safety objectives for High Relocation :
  • Increase awareness of health & safety by addressing it in all official communications and trainings.
  • Be pro-active in the identification of new developments, standards, etc. that may contribute to safe and healthy operations and assess their potential value for the network;
  • Increase awareness among our colleagues, member companies and clients concerning occupational health & safety aspects;
  • Hold annual safety trainings and drills;
  • Keep the number of accidents at 0 (zero).
Environmental Policy
On the issue of the environment we are committed to:
  • Continual improvement of our environmental management system and the prevention of pollution;
  • Comply with legal and other requirements;
  • Obtain the highest possible level of efficiency in our operations as this generates the most effective environmental gain.
To this end, we have set the following objectives for Environmental objectives for The Family Movers
  • Increase environmental awareness by addressing it in official communications and trainings;
  • Apply reusable packing materials for removals whenever possible;
  • Increase environmental awareness within the network by addressing this subject in official network meetings and communications;
  • Consider various means of transportation and their imprint on the environment when planning business travels;
  • Keep the number of environmental incidents at 0 (zero).
